Memories in Colour & Song is the overall creative wellbeing organisation and practice founded by Roz Robertson. Through the Window is the established creative practice within it.

Following bereavement, Roz lost her connection with music and familiar words. Through calm creative absorption—making, walking and noticing colour, the sea and sky—that connection gradually returned, with music and words sometimes emerging spontaneously rather than through deliberate searching.

This lived experience helped shape a gentle creative wellbeing practice rooted in noticing, colour, music, reflection and shared moments.

Memories in Colour & Song now brings this approach into seasonal companion experiences and accessible workshops for individuals, families, care settings, community groups and organisations.

The work is not about artistic ability or completing tasks. It creates space to pause, express, connect and take part in whatever way feels natural.
